You will get to meet at least 10 people during the course of the event in a Speed Dating situation. The females are seated between each male participant and each pair gets about 8 minutes to talk to each other, after which they have to indicate on a slip of paper whether or not they are interested in getting to know this person better. After the 8 mins the male gets up & repositions himself alongside the next lady. Then the fun is ready to begin all over again. At the end of the night all of the sheets are collected and the next day each person is notified of any matches they had with the people they spoke to.
On arrival you are given 2 drink tokens, each one entitling you to a free drink of soft drink, champagne, wine or beer from the bar staff.There will also be some tempting platters of finger food supplied on the night at the middle break.
During the course of the event there will be breaks for you to mingle amongst the general crowd. If you wish to exchange your particulars with someone who you have ‘Speed Dated’, or just chatted with, you are quite at liberty to do. We recommend you provide your e-mail &/or phone numbers only.
